Longtime sake-drinkers find this sake comfortingly familiar. From the highly respected Miyasaka brewery, this classic Junmai is smooth at first sip, and opens up with a range of subtle aromas of fruit and cereal, and flavours balanced on rice's sweetness, acidity, and the savory aspects of Junmai sake. Pairs well with a wide range of western dishes.

Rich yet refreshing. A subtle whiff of banana penny sweets on the nose makes you want to dive right in. Then it's beautiful soft and clean Junmai with melon, pear and marshmallow notes, a moderate acidity and long umami taste that emerges as the bottle warms from chilled to room temperature. This really comes alive when warmed above 40C.

Best enjoyed warmed, this is a classic junmai with rich, crisp flavour which complements fresh seafood (crab, oysters etc) as well as tremendous match for tempura, fried foods, and all fuller-flavoured items on Japanese menus. Smokey, nutty top notes are joined by zingy berry-like fruitiness and plenty of rice-driven umami.
